In today's fast-paced world, it often appears that individuals are dictated by the relentless ticking of the clock. However, one must ponder the necessity of precise timestamps such as 3:03 p.m. or 10:39 a.m. in our daily lives. Frequently, a more general indication like 'just after three' suffices. The distinction between 14:54 and 15:12 may seem significant at first glance, yet the reality is that they represent mere minutes on an infinite continuum: time.

This application presents a novel interpretation of time. Though some may question its precision at first, users will soon find that their intuition and estimation of time gradually improve.

The concept of perceiving time in such a manner draws from historical practices. Until the late eighteenth century, tower clocks typically featured only a single hand to display the hour. During this era, while the measurement of time was undoubtedly significant, life proceeded at a markedly slower pace than today. Furthermore, single-handed clocks were designed for visibility from afar, eliminating any confusion between hours and minutes.

This application embraces this age-old design principle, facilitating effortless readability from a distance.

I was inspired to share this clock by my grandfather Lucas, who crafted a beautiful piece adorned with stars and the sun, featuring only one hand for hour indication. Enjoy this tribute to simplicity and clarity in timekeeping.
